Suggest A Title or Author?

Hello Blue Island!

We've got some change jingling in our pocket (actually a grant to update our African American fiction collection has come in...) and we want to spend it soon. The library plans to buy a little of everything that might appeal to our African American patrons and friends: Classics, Christian fiction, mysteries, popular fiction, urban literature, erotica, romance, etc. Neah Robinson and I could use some help picking out the books. Is there a book or an author that you really enjoy that the library would profit from knowing about? PLEASE SHARE! We are LISTENING and we are BUYING BOOKS. Put your two cents in.
